Finally, Steppin’ Out is touching sea water for the very first time! This is an exciting time as she is lowered into the South China Sea for the first time and they conduct sea trials to test the engines, generators, props, stabilizers, hydraulics, air conditioning and such. We’ll learn how the MAN’s perform and what, if any “tweaking” needs to be done to the props to reach rated RPM’s! These are indeed exciting times in the construction of Steppin’ Out!
