This week we get a nice look of the galley with all of the counters in and covered in protective sheeting. The island is a nice focal point and will be a great work space. We also see the stairs are now in leading from the galley up to the command bridge.
The stainless steel railings have gone in on the command bridge. You can see them welding the rails for the life raft that will be housed in this location – hopefully, to never be needed. I’ve done welding on steel before and to see how these stainless steel welds turn out is a work of art – just amazing!
We’ve added a “wet locker” in the cockpit to store rain coats, lines, cleaning poles, brushes and gear we want to get to quickly. Just below the window in the wet locker is another control station that we’ll use when backing the boat into a slip. The upper aft deck is coming together with the settee molded in and to the left of the door is the cabinet where the grill will go. Can’t wait to fire it up!
